Unit- 1
Foundations of AI & Prompt Engineering serves as the starting point of the AI Mastery Program, providing learners with a strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence and the skills required to interact effectively with modern AI systems. This unit introduces the evolution of AI, core concepts, prompt engineering techniques, and the emerging field of AI Agents. By combining theoretical knowledge with practical applications, learners develop the confidence to use AI responsibly, efficiently, and creatively.
The unit is divided into three comprehensive modules:
Module 1: AI Basics & AI Literacy
Learners begin by understanding the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, including its history, evolution, types, and real-world applications across industries such as education, healthcare, finance, and business. The module introduces key concepts like Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs), while emphasizing AI literacy, responsible AI usage, ethical considerations, and recognizing both the capabilities and limitations of AI.
Module 2: Prompt Engineering Mastery
This module focuses on developing the essential skill of communicating effectively with AI systems. Learners explore the principles of prompt engineering, including prompt structure, context setting, role-based prompting, zero-shot, one-shot, and few-shot prompting, prompt refinement, and iterative improvement. Through practical exercises, students learn how to design prompts that produce accurate, relevant, and high-quality outputs for research, content creation, coding, analysis, and business applications.
Module 3: Introduction to AI Agents
The final module introduces the concept of AI Agents and Agentic AI, highlighting the evolution from simple chatbots to autonomous intelligent systems. Learners explore the architecture of AI agents, memory systems, reasoning capabilities, the ReAct framework, tool integration, multi-agent collaboration, and real-world applications. The module also discusses the current limitations of AI agents and the importance of human oversight in autonomous AI systems.
